This is an introductory unit in Drama/Theatre that builds and enhances the skills developed in 6th grade. Students develop their definition of theatre, compare and contrast theatre and other artforms, and explore how theatre has transformed overtime. They also explore careers in theatre and the contributions, techniques, and personal experiences of theatre professionals and pioneers; learn how to analyze a script; and develop an original script.
