Description:

This course is designed for students new to the country in order to teach the academic language used in the content area of Science. In addition, learning strategies, basic study skills and classroom survival skills for American classrooms are taught to the Multilingual Learners enrolled in this course. Students must be identified for this course by ELD staff. This course can replace science for ELD newcomers.
