Description:
This course provides struggling special education and general education students with instructional supports and skill development to increase access to the general education curriculum, in order to be successful in the academic environment. Curriculum will incorporate instructional practices and strategies based on student learning styles and individual needs, and may include self-advocacy, organization, and test taking skills that will enhance academic performance across all content areas. This course is designed for a small class environment, and can be taken year long or as a semester class, for elective credit.
