Course: Spanish Oral and Written 4 Immersion
This course, designed for fourth graders in the Spanish Immersion program, focuses on instruction of the Spanish language in the context of the Maryland College and Career Readiness Standards for writing, listening and speaking. Writing strategy instruction focuses on literary and informational texts, as well as success in real-world applications.Spanish Immersion courses prepare students to communicate authentically in Spanish by interpreting (reading, listening, viewing), exchanging (speaking and listening; reading and writing), and presenting (speaking, writing) information about standards-based academic content and incorporate the relationships among the products, practices, and perspectives of Spanish-speaking cultures.
