The communication skills continue during the third year of study. Greater emphasis is placed on oral proficiency, listening, and reading and writing using Arabic script. The teacher follows the ACTFL descriptors in order to assist the student with oral communication tasks. Students need to apply the grammatical principles of the language to write short paragraphs.
