This Level 2 course builds on the foundational skills developed in Level 1, expanding students’ proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and deepening their understanding of Deaf culture. Students will enhance their signing vocabulary, improve their ability to use ASL grammar, and practice more complex language functions, such as describing people, places, and activities. They will also develop conversational skills through interactive practice and dialogues. Cultural exploration will focus on social norms, traditions, and the historical contributions of the Deaf community.
