Course: Advanced Placement Statistics
The AP Statistics course is an excellent option for any student who has successfully completed Algebra 2/Trig or Trig/Analysis. This course is comprised of four content themes: exploring data to describe patterns and departures from patterns, sampling and experimentation to plan and conduct a study, anticipating patterns by exploring random phenomena using probability and simulation, and statistical inference through estimating population parameters and testing hypotheses. Students are expected to take the AP Exam at the end of the course. Students must pass Algebra 2 to enroll in AP Statistics
