The internship is the culminating course of the Education Academy Program. Students have an opportunity to integrate content and pedagogical knowledge in an educational area of interest, extend and apply their knowledge about teaching in a classroom setting under the supervision of a mentor teacher, and complete their working portfolio and present it for critique. This is the fourth course for the Teacher Academy of Maryland (TAM) state approved completer program.
Grade 12 Teacher Academy pathway student; Successful completion of Human Growth and Development, Human Growth and Development through Adolescence, Teaching as a Profession; concurrent enrollment in Foundations of Curriculum and Instruction
