Description:
Seniors who have successfully completed the first three levels of Media Arts Production are eligible to enroll in the Internship in the Media Arts program. Students are placed at media production facilities in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area where they are able to put the skills learned in the classroom to practical use. Students will develop a knowledge and understanding of current and emerging technologies in order to become college and career-ready citizens equipped to successfully compete in the global society. The internship requires that students report to their assigned job site on all scheduled days/times. The internship site will determine the start and end times for the internship. Times may vary based on the needs of the facility. Special projects may require additional weekday or weekend hours.
