Online Advanced Placement French Language and Culture
In this full-year course, students will master the concepts of the language needed to succeed on the AP exam and be able to use the language to translate text, as well as use the language both verbally and in writing. Students will use the French language to present information and personal opinions and feelings; understand and interpret written and spoken language on diverse topics from diverse media; understand that different languages use different patterns to communicate and apply this knowledge to the use of the French language; demonstrate, in writing and in speaking, an abilityappropriate understanding of the structures and uses of French verb forms; demonstrate, in writing and in speaking, an ability-appropriate understanding of parts of speech and their use in the French sentence. The course includes AP exam practice items.
