This course is designed to provide students access to how living things function, develop, and interact within their environments. Instruction is designed to promote student inquiry through conducting investigations. This course is designed to facilitate alternate academic learning outcomes appropriate to the instructional needs of the student, as documented in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This course is linked to the general education curriculum; however, the student will require a different scope and sequence, adapted and modified materials.
