This course is designed to facilitate learning outcomes appropriate to the instructional needs of the student. Students access the general education curriculum (see Reading/English Language Arts 7), and adapted to meet IEP requirements and the needs of struggling readers. This course is designed to facilitate 33 Middle School Course Offerings and Descriptions • Fall 2017 DRAFT learning outcomes appropriate to the instructional needs of students who can benefit from instructional practices and strategies based on learning styles and individual needs. The general education teacher and special educator will collaborate to ensure that all students have access to the general education curriculum.
