ESY Special Education

Program Description

The Extended School Year (ESY) program is an individualized extension of specific services beyond the regular school year. It is designed to meet specific goals included in the students Individualized Education Program (IEP). Service hours are student specific and will be determined by each student’s IEP. There will be several models of service delivery - to be determined by the IEP teams.

Who Should Apply

Eligibility is determined by each child’s IEP Team.

How To Apply

During the Annual Review, the IEP team identifies students who require ESY services and initiates the referral process.

Class Sessions

Monday - Thursday
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (hours will vary by site)
