Program Description
Summer Dual Enrollment gives high school students the opportunity to earn college credits while completing their summer coursework in a familiar, supportive environment. Courses are taught by qualified instructors and follow college-level expectations, helping students build the skills needed for success after graduation.

11th - 12th Graders
How To Apply
PGCPS students must meet the following criteria to participate in the Dual Enrollment Program:
- Be enrolled in a Prince George’s County Public School by the PGCPS universal application deadline (Private and Homeschool students are not eligible for this particular program but may be eligible for Concurrent Enrollment Programs. See desired institution for more information)
- Have a minimum 2.6 cumulative unweighted high school grade point average. Qualifying test scores (ACCUPLACER, SAT, or ACT) may be required for desired institution (Minimum admissions test score requirements vary at each college)
- Be enrolled in the 11th or 12th grade (this includes the summer before a student’s junior year)
- Students interested should contact the COAST Advisor assigned to their high school for guidance and next steps. The application is now open.

Program Dates: July 6 - July 31,2026 (No Class July 3rd)
Monday -Friday
Hours*: 7:45 a.m.- 10:00 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
*Students will not be allowed to take a course just at 10 a.m. only
