Benjamin D. Foulois CPA Academy

Benjamin D Foulois CPA Academy is a K-8 Academy where  K-5 students engage in exploratory performing arts learning experiences. Our 6th-8th grade Creative and Performing Arts (CPA) Program engages middle school  students in a deep dive into creative and performing arts curricula. This deep dive experience leads to performance opportunities inclusive of performance assessments, exposure to master-classes and workshops, etc. that further develops the artistic performance abilities, thereby providing students with a deeper understanding of the Arts in their selected area of arts focus. This summer Bridge program is a 4 week intensive experience designed to build student readiness to meet the rigor and expectations for sucess in the CPA program. The summer bridge program is only open to new middle scool students who have been accepted into the CPA Program at Benjamin D. Foulois CPA Academy for the   2025-26 School year.

Carole Highlands Summer Academy

 The Carole Highlands Summer Academy is for children currently enrolled in grades K-4 or the 2025-2026 school year. The Summer Academy aims to provide in-person explicit instruction in language and literacy, mathematics, and social foundations to support students with demonstrating readiness for the 2026-2027 SY.

Dwight D. Eisenhower Summer Extended Learning Program

The Summer Extended Learning Program is designed to provide targeted academic support in mathematics and reading for Students with Disabilities (SWD). Through small-group instruction, differentiated lessons, and individualized learning plans, the program focuses on strengthening foundational skills, closing achievement gaps, and building student confidence. Instruction will be data-driven and aligned to grade-level standards, incorporating evidence-based interventions and progress monitoring to ensure measurable growth. By creating a structured, supportive learning environment, the program aims to accelerate academic achievement while fostering independence and long-term success.

Fairmont Heights High School Hornet Summer Bridge Academy

The Summer Bridge Program is designed to support rising 9th grade students as they transition into high school. The target population includes incoming freshmen who may benefit from additional academic preparation and exposure to high school expectations. The curriculum focuses on intensive math and English skill development to strengthen foundational competencies necessary for success in high school coursework. Instruction is aligned to 9th grade standards and emphasizes key literacy and numeracy skills  including problem solving  reasoning  reading comprehension  and written communication. Students engage in targeted lessons, guided practice  and collaborative learning experiences that reinforce core academic concepts. Expected outcomes for participants include increased readiness in mathematics and English  improved academic confidence  and stronger preparation for the rigor of high school coursework. Student progress will be measured through pre- and post-assessments in math and English  allowing the program to evaluate growth in foundational skills and overall academic preparedness.    Our summer program is designed to provide specialized, smaller-group instruction for scholars entering grades 2-5. The program focuses on bridging the gap in foundational skills to ensure a confident transition into the next school year. By utilizing evidence-based curricula specifically designed for intervention, we provide a structured and supportive environment tailored to each student's unique learning needs

  Literacy (Voyager): Scholars will engage with the Voyager reading program, which emphasizes phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension through high-interest text and explicit instruction.

   Mathematics (Do the Math): Using the Do the Math curriculum, scholars will build a strong numerical foundation. This program focuses on strengthening number sense, operation fluency, and problem-solving strategies through hands-on, scaffolded lessons.

Highland Park Elementary Regal Eagles Summer Edition

The Summer Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) Tutoring Program is designed to provide targeted academic support aligned to our schools Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) goals. The purpose of this program is to accelerate student learning, close achievement gaps, and strengthen proficiency in core content areas.

Through structured, data-driven instruction, students will participate in focused reading and mathematics enrichment that reinforces grade-level standards and addresses identified areas of need.

Reading Enrichment will include:

Explicit instruction in foundational literacy skills

Vocabulary development and language acquisition

Reading comprehension strategies

Fluency practice and written response

Mathematics Enrichment will include:

Development of number sense and mathematical reasoning

Problem-solving and application of grade-level standards

High Point High School

High Point Summer Program offers a valuable opportunity for students to recover lost credits, reinforce learning, and enhance academic skills. 

Students will be able to stay on track for graduation and promotion, and receive an introduction to college and career options. The program features smaller class sizes and more individualized attention, making it especially beneficial for those who need extra support. There is also a two-week career enrichment component for select students to explore technical and/or trade training. Overall, HPSP is a valuable resource that can help students achieve academic success.

LPMES Summer Soar to Success Program, designed to help Kindergarten through 2nd grade students strengthen their reading and math skills in a fun and engaging environment!

Through hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and small-group instruction, students will build confidence in early literacy, phonics, number sense, and problem-solving and help them get a strong start for the upcoming school year.

Our Summer Scholars Program for rising 2nd and 3rd graders keeps students engaged and learning all summer long through a balanced blend of academic practice and enriching activities. Maya Angelou  French Immersion 

Rising Kindergarten through 5th graders, who are registered to attend Maya Angelou French Immersion, are invited to participate in the PGCPS French Immersion Summer Camp!
Rising 1st-5th grade instruction will have a focus in Mathematics and French Language Arts, while incorporating PE, Art, Music, and Drama activities to make acquiring the language fun and exciting.
Incoming kindergarten students will participate in instruction and enrichment activities to introduce them to French, the core language of instruction, in order to facilitate their transition into the French Immersion environment.
The three-week session will allow for both academic skill-building and enrichment. Students will be expected to participate in all three weeks.
