Staff Fest 2026 Frequently Asked Questions

We can’t wait to see #TeamPGCPS at Staff Fest! Use this FAQ to plan your arrival and make the most of the afternoon.

Registration & Entry

Is registration still open?

Registration is now closed. Staff Fest is for employees who registered in advance. Those who did not register should plan to join us at a future event. 

What time should I arrive?

Staff Fest begins at 4 p.m., but we strongly encourage you to arrive early — even before 4 p.m. Parking lots open at 2:30 p.m. Arriving early will give you extra time to park and get through entry.

What do I need to enter Staff Fest?

You must bring your PGCPS ID/badge for entry. 

An ID (e.g., driver's license) along with district-issued documentation that includes your name and Employee ID is also acceptable. 

Will there be security screening?

Yes. Weapon detection systems will be in use at the stadium.

Can I leave and come back?

No. Re-entry is not permitted. Please plan accordingly before entering the stadium.

Parking & Transportation

Where is the Main Parking Lot?

The Main Parking Lot is located at:

4101 Crain Highway

Where is the Overflow/North Lot?

The North Lot is located off Governor Bridge Road.

North Lot coordinates:
38.94812 N, 76.70908 W

Copy and paste these coordinates into Google Maps for directions to the North Lot.

What time do the parking lots open?

Parking lots open at 2:30 p.m.

Is accessible parking available?

Yes. ADA parking is available in the Main Lot only. Accessible parking spaces are located in front of the stadium and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What if I am directed to an overflow parking lot?

Please follow all parking signage and directions from police and event personnel. These directions are intended to help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.

Is carpooling encouraged?

Yes! Carpooling is highly encouraged whenever possible. Sharing a ride can help reduce traffic and make arrival easier for everyone.

Are there any restrictions on vehicles?

Yes. All vehicles must fit within a standard-sized parking space.

Can I tailgate?

No. Tailgating is not permitted.

Is Uber/Lyft drop-off and pick-up available?

Yes. Please direct your Uber or Lyft driver to the gravel section of the Main Parking Lot, closest to the parking gates, for both drop-off and pick-up.

Rideshare users should allow extra time for both drop-off and pick-up.

Bag Policy

What is the bag policy?

A clear bag policy is in effect.

Each person may bring one approved clear plastic bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12".

Small clutch purses or fanny packs up to 5" x 7" are also permitted and do not need to be clear.

Can I bring a backpack?

No. Backpacks and larger bags are not permitted.

Food & Concessions

Will concessions accept cash?

No. All concession stands are cashless.

Payment is accepted by:

  • Credit/debit card
  • Mobile tap-to-pay
  • Baysox Bucks

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

No. Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the stadium.

What to Expect

What is Staff Fest?

Staff Fest is PGCPS’ 2026–27 school year kickoff — a chance for #TeamPGCPS to come together, reconnect and celebrate.

Expect music, entertainment, games, giveaways, food, employee resources, photo opportunities and team spirit.

Will Superintendent Dr. Shawn Joseph speak?

Yes. Superintendent Dr. Shawn Joseph will briefly share the vision and focus for the 2026–27 school year and how Team PGCPS will move Forward Together.

Is Staff Fest a meeting or training?

No! Staff Fest is designed as a celebration and kickoff for Team PGCPS — think stadium-sized pep rally, family reunion and festival.

Can I show my school or department spirit?

Absolutely! Wear your school colors, department shirts or team gear and come ready to show your PGCPS pride.

Quick Reminders

Before you leave for Staff Fest:

  • Bring your PGCPS badge
  • Arrive early
  • Parking lots open at 2:30 p.m.
  • Carpool if possible
  • Follow parking signs and police/event personnel directions
  • Have your clear bag ready, if bringing one
  • Leave backpacks and large bags at home
  • Remember: No re-entry
  • Plan for cashless concessions
  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted
