Prince George’s County Public Schools congratulates Dr. Ed Ryans on being named a finalist in the search for the next superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools.
Dr. Ryans is an integral leader in Prince George’s County in his role as Associate Superintendent for High Schools. Under his guidance, high school performance has grown, with enhanced academic opportunities, equity initiatives, and stronger community partnerships.
“Dr. Ryans is one of the finest educators I have met in my 30-year career,” said PGCPS Incoming Superintendent Dr. Shawn Joseph. “His commitment to students, staff and families has made a positive impact in Prince George’s County, and this recognition reflects the respect he has earned as an educational leader.”
PGCPS appreciates Dr. Ryans’ continued service and leadership and wishes him well throughout the selection process.
