Inside our Math Learning Labs, teachers learn from teachers, observing high-quality math instruction in classrooms, then bringing those strategies back to their own students.

Every student can be a mathematician, problem solver and innovator. In 2026, PGCPS students made meaningful gains in math proficiency across grades 3–8, outpacing the state’s overall improvement. We’re building on that momentum with an ambitious goal: to double the percentage of students demonstrating math proficiency over the next two years.
