Under the direction of the Supervising Grants Accountant, the Accountant I performs complex professional accounting operations applying principles and methods in accordance with established accounting regulations and procedures. The incumbent of this position will support the preparation, monitoring and maintenance of financial records including formulating or reviewing journal entries, analysis of financial data, and preparation of statements and reports.
Associate’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance or a related field required. Previous experience in accounting or finance preferred.
