Under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, the Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for the efficient operations of units and elements of the organization involving Supporting Services, which includes Building Services, Capital Programs, Food and Nutrition, Safety & Security and Transportation. The Chief Operating Officer will report directly to the Superintendent and may represent and act in the Superintendent’s stead, as directed by the Superintendent.
Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university and/or experience running the operations of a large organization.

Developing policy for organizational unit areas; providing guidance to Associate Superintendent of Supporting Services.
