Under the direction of the Director of Community Schools, the Coordinating Supervisor will be responsible for providing assistance to the Director with managing the day-to-day operations for Community Schools; including the administration, supervision, and coordination of services in the department aligned with the mission of guiding, assisting and supporting the Community Schools Specialists; and effective home and community communication and utilization of resources.
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in educational administration required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory position required; five (5) years of successful teaching experience within a secondary school classroom preferred.
Holds or is eligible for certification/licensure appropriate to area of assignment issued by the Maryland State Department of Education.
Oversees and provides guidance and direction to assigned personnel.
