Receive, process, and resolve questions and problems that arise from the use of telephones, smart phones, cell phones, and network drop issues countywide;
Create, manage, and assign helpdesk tickets to contractors daily to ensure jobs are completed and closed;
Review and evaluate requests for additional service;
Review monthly invoices for all repair work, local and long distance service and process payment;
Maintains records of all service requests and budgetary expenditures;
Ensures that the Supervisor and users are kept informed of operations;
Preparation of requisitions for materials and services;
Programming of existing telephone system, and mobile devices, as required;
Review bills for cellular service and distributes them monthly to the departments;
Communicate frequently with system Administrators, Principals and Supervisors;
Understanding of basic E-Rate procedures;
Works with Supervisor to prepare scopes and review responses to Invitations to Bid and Requests for Proposals for telecommunications service; and
Review performance of contractors and other service providers.
Excellent knowledge of Hosted VoIP system, POTS lines;
Good knowledge of telecommunications and data infrastructure;
Thorough familiarity with Google docs, Help deck application and VEC portals;
Expertise using Oracle iProcurement;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Ability to work cooperatively as a team member; and
Ability to work under pressure.

High School Diploma/GED required. Associates Degree preferred or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Two to five years of progressive work experience working in telephone services and data wiring.
