Under direct supervision, the Test Development Technician learns, practices and performs technical work necessary to carry out the updates and computer files related to test administration, student performance, and record keeping required for graduation standards and reports required by local, state, and federal authorities. The incumbent in this class performs duties related to the updates and maintenance of computer files. This includes data entry, storage and retrieval, file management, and production and distribution of reports. Duties also require response to ad hoc requests and verification of accuracy of data. Must be able to communicate and work with coworkers, schools and offices within Prince George’s County Public Schools. In addition, the incumbent must be able to assist schools and offices on how to request data and how to use various computer systems to retrieve data on their own.
High school diploma supplemented by either additional education or appropriate experience in data entry, storage and retrieval.
