Under the direction of the Regional School Health Specialist, the incumbent in this position performs technical work in the development of the Vision/Hearing Screening Program and assures that the screening services are made available to all students. This is paraprofessional work and is carried out according to standard practices and procedures established by the Board of Education and the State of Maryland.
High school diploma or GED supplemented by three (3) years of experience using vision and hearing equipment; or any equivalent combination of expertise and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
