Who can attend the Family Institute?

The Family Institute is designed to support the Learning Guardians of students in Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS), i.e., families, educators, caretakers, community, etc.

Why was the Family Institute created?

The Family Institute has been developed to assist families in supporting their children’s academic success and social emotional well-being. Studies identify that the most successful students are those whose parents are involved.

Sessions in the Family Institute are held in a variety of schools and community spaces throughout Prince George’s County.
