Holds a Maryland State physical education teaching certificate; National Certification in adapted physical education through the Adapted Physical Education National Standards (APENS) program preferred. |

Assistive Technology Resource Teacher |
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or Master’s degree. |
Maryland teaching certification in special education or licensure in a related services field with five (5) years of experience OR Maryland teaching certification in general education with five (5) years of experience teaching students with disabilities and integrating AT devices into instruction. |

Audiologists |
Master’s Degree in Audiology; Doctorate preferred |
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) or Fellow of American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA) and Maryland state licensure in Audiology. |

Teacher of the Deaf and Heard of Hearing (Hearing Teacher) |
Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred, in applicable field of education from a regionally accredited college or university, with a minor/major in education of the Hearing Impaired; experience teaching students (early childhood, elementary or secondary) with a diagnosis of deafness or hearing impairment. |
Holds or is eligible for a Maryland Professional Certificate appropriate to area of assignment; eligibility for Maryland State Department of Education teacher certification in special education, Teacher of the Hearing Impaired. |

Orientation and Mobility Instructor |
Bachelor's degree (preferred Master's) in Orientation and Mobility from a regionally accredited college or university program and Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) certified; Bachelor's Degree (preferred master's) in any field from a regionally accredited college or university program; or a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Dual Certification university program as an Orientation and Mobility Instructor and Teacher of the Visually Impaired preferred and experience in orientation and mobility instruction.

Occupational Therapist |
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. |
Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice License; National OT Certification Board for Pediatrics or Feeding (preferred). |

Physical Therapist |
Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and/or Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university program; Prior pediatric, early intervention and or school based experience preferred. |
Current Maryland Physical Therapy licensure constitutes certification; Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Maryland issued by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners; and Specialty certification in pediatrics preferred. |

Speech Language Pathologist |
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology; experience providing speech language therapy in school based setting preferred; experience working cooperatively with professionals in related disciplines; and skill in working with parents (i.e., parent counseling, parent training, etc.). |
Possession of or are eligible for a Limited or Full License in Speech-Language Pathology issued by Maryland Department of Mental health and Hygiene; holds or is eligible for a Professional Certificate appropriate to area of assignment issued by the Maryland State Department of Education; Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year considered. |

Teacher of the Visually Impaired (Vision Teacher) |
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in an applicable field of education with a minor/major in Visual Impairment from an accredited college or university program. Experience in teaching students with visual impairment from birth to 21. |
Hold or is eligible for a Maryland Professional Certificate appropriate for assignment. Eligibility for Maryland State Department of Education teaching certification, and Teacher of the Visually Impaired. |
