PGCPS offers three Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)-approved Resident Teacher pathways: Elementary Education, ESOL/English Language Development, and Dual Certification in Special Education and a Content Area. Each program provides a structured pathway that combines coursework, classroom-based experience, mentoring, and professional support to help candidates meet Maryland teacher certification requirements.
