Resident Teachers must successfully complete all Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)-required assessments associated with their certification area. This includes the appropriate Praxis content assessment(s) and the edTPA performance-based assessment, as applicable to program completion requirements. Residents are encouraged to review testing requirements early, register in advance, and maintain copies of all official score reports.
