Attendance Area Adjustments and School Consolidations for School Year 2027-2028

*Update* On October 22, 2026, the Board of Education approved attendance area adjustments for School Year 2027-2028. The summary of the Board’s action is available here.

APPROVED: a portion of Glenn Dale Elementary School will be reassigned to the new Fairwood Elementary School for grades PreK-5th, beginning August 2027.
Fairwood Elementary School Notification Letter

- Creation of the attendance area for the new Fairwood Elementary School (Woodmore Elementary School replacement).
- School consolidation into the new Robert Frost Academy for the following schools:

- - Carrollton Elementary School
  - Robert Frost Elementary School
  - Charles Carroll Middle School
