Dr. Deann Collins, Chief of Staff

Dr. Collins will oversee the Offices of Communications, Performance Management, Research and Evaluation, and Government Relations, Compliance, and Procedures.

She brings strong state and district-level experience, having most recently served as Deputy State Superintendent for Teaching and Learning at the Maryland State Department of Education. Her leadership in advancing literacy, special education, and the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future will help strengthen alignment across the organization.
