Before submitting a transportation request:
- Check your bus assignment in ParentVUE.
- Registered by July 31: Bus service begins August 25
- Registered Aug. 10–14: Assignment by Aug. 31
- Registered Aug. 17–21: Assignment by Sept. 10
- Registered Aug. 25–28: Assignment by Sept. 21
- Find a nearby bus stop using Busplanner.
- Check bus location/status in Chipmunk if available for your route.
- Make sure your address is correct. Address changes must be made through your child's school.
- Review the Transportation FAQs.
- Still need assistance? Email bushelp@pgcps.org.
Contact your school if:
- Your home/daycare address is incorrect.
- You need a one-day change to the bus your child rides.
- Your child lost something on the bus.
- You have an IEP/504 transportation question that needs to begin with the school team.
- You're experiencing a recurring delay that the school needs to know about.
Contact Transportation if:
- You believe a bus stop presents a safety issue.
- You are requesting an eligible bus-stop change.
- You need to report driver/bus operation concerns.
- You have an unresolved bus assignment or routing issue.
- Your issue wasn't resolved after following the recommended steps.
If you've reviewed the information above and still need assistance, submit a request to the Transportation team. Submitting a ticket will provide better tracking of your issue and resolution.
