As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 public health crisis, Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) remains committed to a safe learning and working environment. Above all, we are committed to reopening our schools safely with the health and wellbeing of our students, teachers and staff as the highest priority. Towards that end, we are working with local and state health experts, our county and state government partners and the Maryland State Department of Education while closely adhering to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Whenever we open, we will use strict preventative measures including social distancing in the classroom and throughout buildings, face masks, hand washing and more.
We welcome your feedback as we move forward together to build a safe plan that is responsive to the needs of our students, educators and families.
Thank you for your continued support and patience.
