Welcome Letter

Dear Charles Carroll Middle School Students, Parents, Guardians, and Families,

Estimados alumnos, padres, tutores y familias de la escuela secundaria Charles Carroll

It is with a grateful heart and tremendous excitement that I welcome you to the Charles Carroll Middle School family. Beginning this journey with you is an honor and a privilege, and I am truly looking forward to getting to know each of you—the students who make our school special, the families who entrust us with their greatest gifts, and the dedicated staff who pour their hearts into the work of educating and supporting our children. While our students have been enjoying their summer, our incredible staff has been working diligently behind the scenes to prepare our school, classrooms, programs, and systems for their return. Their commitment is a reflection of how much we believe in our students and how deeply we care about their success.

I am especially excited to welcome Ms. Aja Ramsay as our newest Assistant Principal and am grateful to continue serving alongside Mr. Powell and Ms. N. Williams. Together, our administrative team is here to serve, listen, support, and partner with you. My vision for Charles Carroll is rooted in two simple but powerful beliefs: Unconditional Positive Regard—every child deserves to be known, valued, respected, and believed in—and Excellence is the Standard—we will challenge ourselves and one another to be our very best every day. I believe deeply that when students know they are loved, supported, and believed in, they can accomplish extraordinary things.

As we begin this new chapter together, I invite you to join me in building a school community where every student belongs, every voice matters, every adult is valued, and every child is expected to excel. I cannot wait to meet you, learn your stories, celebrate your strengths, and walk alongside you throughout this school year. Welcome to Carroll! Our best days are ahead, and together, we will make them extraordinary.

With great enthusiasm and Carroll Pride,
Dr. Arthur Williams
Principal
