Dear Students and Families,
I am excited to share two outstanding opportunities for our students to begin earning college credit while still in high school through University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) and Bowie State University (BSU).
UMGC – Spanish for Business and the Professions
Eligible juniors and seniors with a 3.0 unweighted GPA can take college courses through UMGC. Students interested in business, healthcare, education, government, communications, or other careers where Spanish is a valuable skill are especially encouraged to consider this program. This two year program is taught completely in Spanish and students will learn about the economies of several Central American countries.
Bowie State University
Eligible juniors and seniors with a 3.0 unweighted GPA can take college courses through BSU while in high school. This is a great opportunity to experience college coursework and earn credits toward your future degree.
