Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policies

Title I, Part A of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires schools to develop and implement parent involvement policies and programs. These policies describe the means for carrying out the activities required by ESSA to involve families in the academic achievement of their students. Parent Right-to-Know

Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), parents are to be notified that they have a right to request and receive information on the professional qualifications of their child's classroom teacher(s) and paraprofessional(s).

Parent and Family Engagement

Parent engagement is a shared responsibility in which schools, the community, and organizations are committed to serving and reaching out to engage parents in ways that promote success in the school and at home.
