Greetings!

It is my joy and privilege to continue to serve as principal of Yorktown Elementary School, where staff and families work together to develop today’s learners into tomorrow’s leaders. Our school is a vibrant community of diverse learners, educators, and families working together to promote the holistic development of every student — academically, socially, and emotionally.

We believe that learning should be engaging, purposeful, and joyful and strive to ensure that our students’ educational experience is both meaningful and memorable. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to create a safe, nurturing environment while ensuring that our efforts each day align with the three tenets of our collective mission:

• To embody a positive school culture where students, staff, and parents feel welcome and valued as important members of our school community
• To maintain effective home-school partnerships, work collaboratively and communicate regularly to support the needs of those who matter most...our students!
