Fairmont Heights High School seniors continued to raise the bar in academics, career readiness, and workforce preparation. Through the Hornets TradeWorks programs, students explored hands-on career pathways in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, nursing, eyelash technician training, and barbering. Hornets TradeWorks provided valuable industry knowledge and real-world experience, equipping students with skills that will prepare them for success beyond high school.
We are also proud to celebrate three graduating seniors—Wendy Mejia-Rodriguez, Massiamie Kromah, and Calise Evans—who successfully completed the Wegmans Work Mentorship Program. This opportunity offered meaningful employment experience, professional mentorship, and post-secondary pathways that will continue to support their growth and success.
In academics, our valedictorian and salutatorian, Diamond Pray and Valery Torres-Quito, exemplified excellence by each earning 22 college credits through Dual Enrollment. Their dedication and hard work will allow them to begin college as second-semester freshmen, giving them a strong head start in their collegiate journeys.
The Class of 2026 continues to demonstrate that there are multiple pathways to success, and we are proud to celebrate their achievements in college, careers, and beyond.
