Class of 2026 Highlights - Oxon Hill High School
The Class of 2026 at Oxon Hill High School earned an impressive $60,135,443 in scholarships and financial awards, continuing the school’s tradition of excellence.

Highlights include:
- CCAP Scholarship Award winner Michal Thornhill earned a $150,000 culinary arts scholarship
- Sarah Wright won 1st Place in Chemistry and the Grand 1st Place Prize at the Prince George’s County Area Science Fair — Oxon Hill’s first overall win since 2003 — and will advance to the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Phoenix, Arizona
- One Gates Scholar attending University of California, Los Angeles
- Two Karsh Scholars attending Howard University
- One SMART Scholar attending Northwestern University
- One University of Maryland Incentive Award Scholar
- Two students attending Ivy League schools: Princeton University and University of Pennsylvania
- Two sets of triplets graduating together
- One student earned more than 1,000 community service hours
- The class completed more than 31,000 community service hours
- Eight Seal of Biliteracy Awardees in Amharic, French, Italian, and Spanish
