College Park Academy Class of 2026 Earns More Than $31.9 Million in Scholarships

The Class of 2026 at College Park Academy continues to set a high standard for academic excellence, earning more than $31.9 million in scholarships and financial awards.

The 86-member graduating class completed an impressive 810 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, averaging 9.4 AP courses per student, with every senior completing at least six AP courses. Diego Villatoro led the class with an extraordinary 18 AP courses completed during his high school career.

This year, 13 students earned the Maryland Seal of Biliteracy — the most in school history — while 17 students received AP Scholar recognition from the College Board. More than 50% of the graduating class earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and 86% of seniors plan to attend college.

Students also excelled in dual enrollment, with more than half of the class completing at least one dual enrollment course and two students earning more than 30 college credits before graduation.

Beyond academics, the Class of 2026 demonstrated a strong commitment to service, collectively earning an additional 6,852 community service hours during their four years at CPA.
