Eleanor Roosevelt High School Class of 2026: A Legacy of Excellence

The Class of 2026 at Eleanor Roosevelt High School has set a remarkable standard for academic excellence, leadership, innovation, and achievement.

This extraordinary class earned more than $130 million in scholarships while producing nationally recognized scholars, award-winning artists, championship athletes, and future leaders.

Among their many accomplishments:

• Two QuestBridge Scholars: Aldrich Jad Magpali and Nhung Phan
• One National Merit Semifinalist
• One student earning an associate degree from Prince George's Community College — Makaila Francois
• Appointments to the United States Naval Academy and the United States Merchant Marine Academy
• Students continuing their academic journeys at Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, and Johns Hopkins University

The Class of 2026 also excelled in STEM, arts, and academics, earning honors in national engineering competitions, robotics world championships, poetry and art awards, advanced mathematics, and regional science fairs.

On the athletic stage, Eleanor Roosevelt students dominated county and regional competition, capturing championships in lacrosse, softball, swimming, soccer, wrestling, tennis, cross country, indoor track, and
basketball.
