We hope to provide you with some valuable information to assist you in understanding our department and the ways in which we serve employees and the community.
Risk Management is a division of the Risk Management and Workers’ Compensation Office. We are responsible for evaluating loss exposures, assessing liability, promoting internal controls and developing effective safety and health programs for all employees and the students served. We are also responsible for the administration of the insurance programs and reporting of claims including employee injuries under Workers’ Compensation.
We are here to identify, assess and address concerns that could potentially damage the Prince George’s County Public School (PGCPS) system -financially, strategically, and/or by reputation.
