Family and Consumer Sciences

Family and Consumer Sciences, Financial Literacy, Creating Health and Sustainable Families

Overview

We like to refer to Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) as classes in “Adulting.” Here is where you learn to manage a budget, plan menus and cook nutritious meals, manage a household (and decorate it!), or design and create clothes. These courses are designed to provide valuable life skills and to explore possible career fields.
