Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes Oracle EBS to run check-printing and positive pay processes for Payroll and AP checks;
  • Prepares documentation, confirms details with Treasury, sends positive pay files to the bank’s secure system, and verifies check ranges, totals and voids; files completed packets with supporting documents and confirmations;
  • Schedules for routine daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual processing in Oracle EBS;
  • Adjusts schedules to accommodate special requests, software patching and upgrades and/or changing requirements;
  • Maintains a register of production events, ensures jobs are properly set up with updated parameters;
  • Reviews prior day’s work for completeness and coordinates with user departments and IT to resolve any issues;
  • Works with user departments and IT to determine production deadlines and adjusts schedules accordingly;
  • Coordinates with DBAs and IT Business Applications on new programs and systems to ensure proper scheduling and implementation; and
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience required. In lieu of the degree requirement, candidates with a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in any combination of the following areas may also be considered: using core Oracle modules including Time Entry, Self-service Purchasing (SSP) and iExpense; using Oracle Concurrent Manager (navigating processes and reports, scheduling, monitoring and troubleshooting jobs); setting up and maintaining request sets, schedules, and dependencies; and/or working with Oracle reports, Windows shared drives, and secure file transfer protocols.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift up to 25 lbs.
