AI Strategies for Use

There are multiple generative AI large language models (ex., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) and educationally focused generative AI tools (Brisk Teaching, Khan Academy,  MagicSchool.ai, etc.) PGCPS is currently conducting various pilots to determine the suite of tools that will continue to be utilized within our digital environment. 

Therefore, the following strategies can be utilized with the generative AI tool of your choice, with the general guidelines in mind.

• Summarize Content: Ask AI to summarize long articles or videos to quickly grasp key points.
• Organize Thoughts: Use AI to create an outline for a project, presentation, or essay.
• Brainstorm Ideas: Treat AI as a brainstorming partner to generate ideas for a complex problem.
• Draft Communications: Let AI help you draft emails or messages to save time and improve clarity.

• Generate Visuals: Create unique images or artwork for a school project that can be refined.
• Spark New Ideas: Ask AI for creative writing prompts or "what if" scenarios to overcome creative blocks.

• Simplify Concepts: Ask AI to explain a difficult topic in a simpler way or with a helpful analogy.
• Personalized Quizzes: Use AI as a personal tutor to create practice questions on any subject.
• Explore Interests: Discover new topics by asking AI to act as a guide, suggesting resources to explore.
