Medicaid Eligibility

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) provides Medical Assistance, also called Medicaid, coverage to individuals and families determined by their needs and income.  Eligibility depends on family needs, size and income.  The annual income limit is about $21,200 for a family of three.  A family may also be categorically eligible if already receiving public assistance such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) or foster care.  Eligibility for Medicaid is usually determined every 12 months.

Here is a guide of monthly house income to qualify for Medicaid.
