SUMMER REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE

Prince George's County Public Schools has implemented four countywide systemic registration days.  The dates are as follows:

  • Wednesday, July 13
  • Thursday, July 14
  • Wednesday, August 10
  • Thursday, August 11

Parents can utilize the SCRIBS Online system to complete your registration AND upload documents needed for enrollment.  Please go to:  https://pgcpsmdc.scriborder.com

Parents having difficulty with the online registration process can schedule an appointment to visit their boundary school for assistance.  Schools will have staff available to provide in-person assistance with completing an enrollment application (transitional or new student registration) from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Please contact your student's assigned school for an appointment.

For parents that will be unavailable during normal school hours, central registration hubs will be available on the four designated days from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Please contact the Office of Pupil Accounting and School Boundaries (PASB) to set up an appointment.  PASB can be reached at 301-952-6300 or pasb.enrollment@pgcps.org.  Note: Space and availability will be limited.  Additional dates may be added.

DOCUMENTATION FOR SUMMER REGISTRATION NEW AND TRANSITIONAL REGISTRATION LISTED BELOW

OPTION A (New students): All parents enrolling for the first time in Prince George’s County Public Schools must have the following (parent checklist available for download):

  • Government Issued Photo Identification for the parent/legal guardian. (The ID must match the name on the birth certificate/guardianship papers. Presentation of photo ID does not qualify as proof of residence.)
  • Original Proof of Birth for the Student with seal and parents name listed.
  • Proof of Residency (see detailed documentation needed please scroll down after clicking on link)
  • Shared Housing Form (if applicable)
  • Affidavit of Disclosure (New Students to the County) 
  • Additional documentation may be required depending on individual circumstances.
  • Health-Related Documents*
  • Report Card from Previous School* 

*These documents may be requested to complete the student’s registration and enrollment process.

OPTION B (Transitional Students): If you are a Prince George’s County resident and your child is currently enrolled in a PGCPS but will be transitioning to a new location, you will only need to provide the following (parent checklist available for download) :

  • Government Issued Photo Identification for the parent/legal guardian.  (The ID must match the name on the birth certificate/guardianship papers. Presentation of photo ID does not qualify as proof of residence.)
