Special Investigations Unit - Investigation with Professionalism and Discretion

The Special Investigations Unit conducts confidential investigations involving employee misconduct. Working closely with Human Resources, school leadership, and several other stakeholders, the Special Investigations Unit ensures that all cases are handled thoroughly, professionally, and in alignment with district policy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Investigate employee misconduct and professional standards violations
  • Respond to allegations involving inappropriate staff behavior and/or ethical concerns
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Legal, and law enforcement as needed
  • Collect evidence, interview involved parties, and prepare formal reports
  • Support accountability measures and administrative decision-making
