Dr. Charoscar Coleman currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Prince George’s County Public Schools. In this role, Dr. Coleman is committed to ensuring efficient and effective operations across the school district to support student learning. Dr. Coleman has served the students of Prince George’s County Public Schools for over 25 years. Over the course of his career he has served as a high school Social Studies Teacher, Assistant Principal, middle and high school Principal, and Instructional Director responsible for supervising elementary and secondary Principals. Most recently, Dr. Coleman served as Associate Superintendent for Supporting Services and was responsible for overseeing school system operations. Dr. Coleman earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, master’s degree from The George Washington University, and a doctorate from the University of Maryland. Dr. Coleman is dedicated to providing all students and staff with safe, comfortable, and innovative learning and work environments.
