Bus Schedules

Student bus schedules for the 2026-2027 school year can be accessed by parents via ParentVue and/or the Chipmunk app. This app is available on Google Play and Apple App Store.  The Chipmunk app will also provide families with real-time bus location, estimated arrival times, and instant alerts for delays, cancellations, and other transportation updates. To ensure bus transportation for the first day of school, make sure you are registered by July 31, 2026.

Student Identification Cards

All students are required to wear their student ID badge on a daily basis. This year, students will be checked in and out of school utilizing their student ID cards. Students will not be permitted to attend any school-sponsored events without their student identification cards being fully displayed around their necks. No exceptions will be made.

Chromebooks

Ninth graders and students new to PGCPS will receive Chromebooks during the first week of school.  All PGCPS students should have a Chromebook in their possession every day.  These devices are on loan to you by PGCPS until you graduate or leave our school system.  It is expected that you will return your assigned Chromebook in good condition.  If your Chromebook is lost or damaged, please let us know so we can make arrangements for repair or replacement.  The costs will be provided at the time of inquiry.  All Central HS Scholars should have a fully charged Chromebook (and the charger) at school daily.

School Meals

At this time, it is our understanding that we will continue to offer all students free breakfast and lunch for the upcoming school year.  However,  if you previously participated in the free and reduced meals program or believe that you will qualify at this time, it is highly encouraged that you apply for the new school year. You can apply for free and reduced meals online at MySchoolApps.com.

NO Outside Food and Drinks

As a reminder, students are not permitted to order food during the school day. All orders will be confiscated. Students will not be permitted to bring open containers of liquid into the building. This includes but is not limited to bottled water. Students may bring empty (non-glass) containers to refill utilizing the filtered water system located in various areas of the building.

Student Schedules

Student schedules will be available in Synergy. If you have a question about your schedule, there will be a process in place for you to schedule an appointment to speak with your grade-level Professional School Counselor after August 26, 2026.
