Hello, and welcome to Deerfield Run Elementary School!

I have the unique privilege of serving as the Principal of this outstanding school community. My name is Jason Simmons, and alongside our wonderful Assistant Principal, Ms. Scott, I am excited to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year.

At Deerfield Run, our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student and every staff member is encouraged to take risks, embrace challenges, and reach their fullest potential. We believe that every child can succeed, and we are committed to providing meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and academic excellence.

This year, our work will focus on several important priorities:
